Should be stickied soon. And Squall x Tidus is a very well-known 5-5 match-up, making the former a good example.

Nice job with the .gifs. I wanted to use them for the Lightning FAQ, but since she has so many different moves, it would've overloaded the thread >.<

Also, oddly you credit K'Gen for his guide outline, when he seemed to use my outline from the old Squall to the new Squall FAQ >.> No worries, though

Nice guide sir, +rep. Made me reconsider using Tidus again. I will use Hop Step coupled with other moves like Sphere/Wither Shot to see if my game with him improves.

Yeah. I main him in DFF and started him on DDFF. Back in DFF, I always own my friend using Tidus. But in DDFF, I don't have any human opponents so I tend to get frustrated with mages and camper CPUs. I kinda lost interest because of Tidus' lack of ranged spells, compared to WoL who has White and Blue Fang so I made WoL my party leader. I guess I haven't taken into consideration Tidus' Hop Step or using it to build assist meter.

Like I said, no worries. It's a good outline, makes things easy to read and just looks nice :3 That's what matters - it's clean and informative.

Hi mmwaffle. Just want to ask why if ground hop step useless? I already checked this guide and it says that it is a must for Tidus but I want to try your build without ground hop step because I feel that I'm not comfortable having two hop steps equip. It seems that this move is really weak and the only use for this is assist building and assist combos.
