Dissidia THIS! (Dissidia / Dissidia 012 machinima series)

As I mentioned earlier in my MK9 Smoke mod topic, biggest reason I'm here is actually to get a better grasp on what Dissidia entails, what fans of the game want in a Dissidia based series, and what could be improved upon all in all. While the series thus far has received more or less positive reception, I am aware of its' flaws, inconsistencies in both tone and script, and thus, have been working to make it more consistent in both, so lines don't come out as hit or miss.

Mind you, this series is initially a more "in your face" version of Dissidia, with my own story attached, I fear grasping a proper tone was a serious problem, and I really don't want to end up boring people, or showing them the same thing they've seen again and again and again and again. Though now that I'm just about done with Episode 4, I think I DO actually have a much better grasp on where the story needs to go, and how it needs to be told. All that yammering aside, I give you "Dissidia THIS!"

I also provide the voices of various characters throughout, such as Garland, Kefka, Golbez and various one liners in between. Thankfully despite my shaky attitude towards this series, the one thing I DO take absolute pride in is the voice actors and all the hard work they put in.

Well, CpmStudios has actually been a Machinima.com partner for nearly 3 years now, most notably for our other series on the GTA IV Engine (Two Steps Ahead,) it's all a matter of exposure I guess.

I absolutely LOVE this series thus far. It's on my top three Dissidia Machinima for sure, definitly my top two! (Of course, I only know of three Dissidia Machinima series, so...)

Regardless, excellent job. Balancing out comedy that is consistently funny and a story that actually intrigues is no small feat, but you guys have done it. You're the kind of people that make me want to get into machinima someday.

Well, nearly 2 years since Episode 3 came out, but after some wear and tear, 'Dissidia THIS! Episode 4 - The Puppeteers' can now be seen below. Unfortunately this'll also mark the last episode in the series due to various reasons.
