this guy sucked he wasnt using assists lol
Reikou, was your opponent one of those people who simply refuse to acknowledge assists? There's not really much to criticize or weaknesses to find in your gameplay if your opponent isn't... as much of a challenge as they could be.
But I can point out that you could probably practice better timing with your Jecht's ground assist.

Yea, I'm still new to Jecht as an assist, and getting the timing down with some of Sephiroth's moves has been a chore for me. I just started working on this build this past weekend.
My friend forgot to equip an assist on Cloud and he was bitching for the entire both fights because he forgot about them lol. Normally, it's backwards, he plays Sephiroth and I'm the Cloud player, but we reversed things and he forgot to add the assists.
Spoiler:
Another fun video against my friend (Who remembered his assists this time!). Don't criticize to hard as he just picked up WoL and is still working on building his skills with him. There's a nice example of using dodge cancel into Scintilla at 2:28
To much use of freverent blow and it made you very predictable which is why so many shields of light smacked you. seph shouldn't be on the ground enough for you to use it 1/4th as much as you did. And just don't put on godspeed at all, sephs air game should be oblivion, shadow flare, and sudden cruelty. You didn't have nearly enough shadow flare pressure. And kuja is a better assist on sephy than jecht.

Perhaps, but I hate Kuja so much, I'd much rather jam the Masamune through his neck when calling him as an assist than have him attack my opponent.
Thanks for the honest feedback about my Seph playing though. I've been wanting some good feedback. I'll try Oblivion out rather than Fervent Blow and see how that goes.
The man is in a thong with lipstick on I can't blame you, but you can link up to an hp attack ANY time he hits and he has insane combos with him jecht might be reasonable on grounded stages but from what I've seen the combos aren't as damaging and they all rely on the ground which would screw you over on a stage like planets core or the rift. I think you mant godspeed not freverent blow. Freverent blow is a good back the fuck up attack (unless they're dashing at you but you should be able to dodge out before they hit you) and if they're super close transience is good but against you shouldn't be using them that much since you'll mainly be in the air.
Much better. You can assist combo off of sudden cruelty (let the first part hit) and you can cancel dodges with scintilla, I saw that could have saved your ass a few times.
