Thats not bad actually. If you have Near Death on, Achy/Achy+ and Back to the Wall helps to gets that booster running faster of course. Stacking up on Sneak Attack(both the actual ability and Tifa's Seventh Heaven) is also helpful. Also, since you dont have Heaven's Cloud you might wanna use chase a bit more often. Aside from that, Moonsault is what you'll be dealing the most damage with(at max multiplier, Moonsault should be chopping off something like 300+ brv per hit).
Personally though, I'd run Jecht or Tidus(possibly Aerith as well)with this build unless you have the timing of Yuna air brv-->Moonsault down as well as the usual Tifa/Yuna combos.
EDIT: Also since Moonsault's and aerial attack, the Aerial booster is a good substitue for Near death as you'll have Aerial active before Near Death.

Sniper Eye Tifa = High Brave Base Zidane~

So what are the disadvantages to a Tifa SBS build?

Since Tifa's Ex-Mode is pretty simple (IIRC more Ex-Gauge, more damage) is not that much of a loss. She's easy to connect some HPA thanks to her Feints (like Rolling Blaze) and Somersault is pretty fast. So SbS could be a good choice.
Although, I prefer to use SbS build only on chippers such as Zidane or Onion Knight (Since they have a lot of HP Links) and leave Tifa with some generic Damage/Depletion/Ex-Mode build.

SBS only works as far as your opponent doesn't know how to handle HP attacks. An experienced player who knows how to battle Tifa will know how to bait out and punish both BRV and HP feints, thus making SBS of less worth.
Not to mention that ruling out EX Mode is never a good idea. It's a viable trump card in any battle, and given Tifa's ridiculous speed and how quick she can make it to EX Cores, you pretty much make one of her strengths worthless by going with SBS.

I'll have to disagree. Honestly there are not many situations where I would give up her ex mode. Used correctly it breaks an opponent on base bravery (or comes very close in doing so). Rolling Blaze feints used to work on 2011 may opponents but nowadays experienced players know what to do with it, so you won't be gaining too much assist from there. However the more cramped up the stage is, the more useful RB becomes, so sbs may have its uses on such occasions.
Ah. I only play with my friend, and he's got the online experience but I manage to run SBS successfully. I enjoy the boosters that are usable with no EX gauge, that's my main motivation. Helps boost damage I think.

In theory, yes.
But I already see a lot of "experienced players" getting hit by Rolling Blaze. It's dangerous even knowing the move. Your opponent can control the timing of the feint too, making it less predictable.
Not to mention you won't be "perfect" on every battle.
Yes, I agree with you too. As Chaos said, Ex-Mode can be your victory.
What I want to say with "Not much of a loss", is that her Ex-Mode is not like a Firion's Ex-Mode or Cloud's Ex-mode, which are very good.

I'd be willing to bet which one here is more on the theory side.
On the contrary. When you know how it works you can just space the first part, and evade the second one. Just like chaos said, you can start baiting RB's for easy punishes. The thing to be mindful of is not to get in a situation where the move actually works, and that comes with experience. It's dangerous even knowing the move

I know that, With experience you can escape just fine.
What I'm saying is that the move may got you sometime. As you said back there, the stage helps too.
Anyway, Rolling Blaze is Dodgeable as every move on the game, I know that.
I just think that is a good move to surprise the opponent or something, it's just my opnion about it.
