I use UB, SB, and Thunder Barret.

I play melee as Squall so eh, I like the combo potential here.

But in either case, if you had to choose between the two, I would choose SB, personal opinion.

When it comes down to it, Squall's brave game is so excellent that he can use pretty much any one of his moves and get an instant break, so really, what you equip for those matters very little (except in the case of mystic flurry). It's the timing of knowing when to use his HP attacks and fooling the enemy with his brave attacks which makes a truly good squall player. Most people can just spam beat fang to get an early break, but when it comes down to hitting with that final attack, they fall short.

So I guess what I'm saying here is, equip whatever you want for squall's brave attacks, it really doesn't matter. You can win with beat fang/mystic flurry and his HP attacks if you're good enough.

spamming in this GAME shouldn't be complained about, there's only three attacks, I hardly think you can avoid spamming.

However there is blatant spamming such as constant Holy spamming which can obviously be avoided.

I suppose it can go both ways, since sometimes in certain situations, the best course of action is to do the same attack, since there's so little to choose from. However, I see your point, where some people just blantantly spam a single move all match (see: Dave's Bartz in Ninja's Playground, any Zidane player, etc...)
