"Get Salty" Tournament FINALIZE BRACKETS

It seems the good ol' saying applies here: "You're damned if you do and damned if you don't." I already said that in retrospect I gave Dave the advantage with big open stages but if Dave didn't have his way, he would have used Zidane and quite frankly I am completely fed up with Swift Attack to Meo Twister the whole match for a victory. I would have done everything the same but probably would have used ExDeath instead of CoD because I had quite a bit of fun with ExDeath.

Wow im flattered, but that isn't how Garland should be played XD the only exception is when you fight Terra. Wait til you see a good Garland match ;] those are awe-inspiring especially Garland vs Cloud

Just passing by, ´cause I´m on internet-life vacation right now(It´s Carnival around here, baybee...biggest party of the planet).

I thought it was obvious because of the rules and how this tournament went by. But I guess some people didn´t quite realize what was going on.
Looking at Get Salty rules, Funky´s attitude towards the finals, how the matches went and a lot of other stuff, it´s quite easy to perceive some things:

1 - The top(not only in skill) players have a lot of respect towards each other and towards the "fun" aspect of the game. They are just looking for a good challenge, a good laugh and, overall, a good time. Paraphrasing what an outstanding player wisely said in a match against me during Get Salty: "Winning is not everything. It´s how you get there that matters".

2 - Skill has little to do with how you play the "outer" aspects of the game. Meaning it doesn´t matter how overpowered your character or accessory set may be. It´s the player behind the game that makes the difference. The final results are there to prove it.

3 - Bragging and criticizing usually comes from those who have an excuse to not be able to back up their bravados. No matter how many "gaming critics" are out there, I always see the same people on top, taking their chances and improving themselves, while those others are still busy talking shit and remaining merely unknowns whose opinions hardly ever matters.


Anyway, I´m with Wedge. This should be about congratulating the top three and enjoy the tournament for what it was. Pretty impressively awesome matches took place throughout it and the whole show deserves praise.
Guess I´ll be seeing you on the next one, I hope. And now, back to the parteh!!!
